Rarotonga Island

Rarotonga is the largest of the Cook Islands, a nation of 15 islands in the central South Pacific. Volcanic peaks, ridges and rainforest dominate its interior. A 32km, round-the-island road links the beaches, coastal lagoon and reefs that make scuba diving and snorkeling popular.

There are plenty of activities in the water to choose from, here are a few

Glass Bottom Tour

We have 2 tour operators to choose from. Both located in Muri Beach. Great family fun

Swim with the turtles

Further in the South side of the island, the turtle beach awaits with plenty of options to choose from. Must do tour, breathtaking experience.

Kitesurfing ~ Windsurfing ~ SUP Kayaking ~ Winging

For those more adventurous, there are lessons and equipment hire

Nature walks/hikes

Takitumu Conservation Area

Be sure to check it out. on the South side of the island, this protected area is the home of many beautiful Kakerori birds.

The Needle Cross Island Hike

You'll find the start of the hike within 5min from Summer House Rarotonga. This hike has stunning views of the island. Be sure to do it accompanied with a guide.
